Hello all, I am new to the forum, I am looking for some advice on where I can best learn and understand scopes and zeroing, I just can't seem to grasp the subject?? I have a Weihrauch HW95K with a Hawke Eclipse 4-16 x 50 scope, it has gone out of zero and I just can't seem to get it zeroed again, any help would be appreciated, just remember if you could help keep it simple as i am just a thick Brummie 😉
Thanks in advance Martin
Thank you so much @Christian for such detailed information. I own two very good Gosky 12x50 ED Glass astronomical telescopes and I know about and am fussy about optical quality. I wanted a monocular with decent optics for general use but at a reasonable price and I can confirm that this unit is top quality for the money. The ED and Bak4 glass work really well. The image is very clear indeed with minimal if any, color fringing in high light contrast tests. The build quality of the unit is excellent and 'solid' as well.
Objects are jittery when zoomed in, but some decent photos can be taken at shorter distances. Trying to take a photo of the moon was nearly impossible without a tripod.
I definitely recommend these monoculars if anyone wants quality but is only prepared to pay too much extra for it :)
