This one was always going to be tricky. Our competitions aren’t about rolling dice; they’re designed to take a bit of skill, research, and careful thought. After all, if it were just pure chance, it would start looking a bit too much like gambling—and we’re not in that business.

A quick bit of digging into the LISKA silencer’s product descriptions would have revealed the truth. But for those who made a snap judgment the moment they saw Czech accents and a clever-looking acronym—you fell for the bait.

A Kral Puncher K rifle with a wooden stock and scope leans against a tree amid greenery. The setting is a lush outdoor environment, conveying tranquility.

❓ The Question

For the VIXEN 2, the competition question was:

👉 What does “LISKA” mean?

And the possible answers were:

  1. Fox

  2. Lehký Integrovaný Systém pro Korekci Akustiky(Lightweight Integrated System for Acoustic Correction)

  3. Whisker

🔤 The Great Anagram Trap

Now, number two looks convincing, doesn’t it? Technical, clever, and full of accents in all the right places. Trouble is:

  1. We completely made it up.

  2. The LISKA silencer isn’t “integrated” at all—it’s an external part.

So, sadly, all those who confidently ticked that option… wrong.

Though, if AGT do decide to nick our acronym and retroactively turn it into a real product, we’re afraid we won’t be reopening the prize draw. 🤣

And no, it doesn’t mean Whisker either.

Because the real answer is much simpler:👉 “LISKA” is just the Czech word for Fox.

🎯 And the Winners Are…

As ever, more than one of you nailed the correct answer, which meant it was time for the Random Name Generator of Destiny™ to step in and do its thing.

The winners...

🥇 1st Prize – AGT VIXEN 2 Michael Cox of Stockton-on-Tees
🥈 2nd Prize – APOLLO PMC Gun Bag Harry Hutchinson of Swadlincote
🥉 3rd Prize – APOLLO PMC Gun Bag Anthony Mark Jump of Blackburn

A huge congratulations to our three winners!

And to everyone else—thank you for playing along. If nothing else, you’ve now expanded your Czech vocabulary beyond “Pilsner.”

🚨 Don’t Forget

These giveaways are members-only, so if you’ve been sitting on the fence, now’s the time to get involved. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it means you get the chance to win some rather tasty kit.
