This is what i use on my stocks I've used it for years on all my guns just rub it in by hand keeps my stocks nice
I took my R10 Stock away to work with me for a three week stint and spent a hour after work every night rubbing a small amount of oil on it and thats the end result a very dark look too the stock the last three nights i never put oil on just hand rubbed it as their was still plenty on & with the heat off my hand rub i got that nice dark look .
It's all about how much time are willing to invest in too each stock ? the R10 stock gets two coats a year now a light rub with wire wool then oil & a rub a hour spent doing it in total job done .
