I live on the outside a small city in rural Montana. I walk my dog every night. The area is overrun by roving packs of very rude whitetail deer. These buggers are not afraid of dogs or people, actually more of a threat than you might think, especially during the rut. Requirements:
Reasonably accurate out to 15 yards
Capable of producing a good stinging reaction out to 15 yards
Would prefer something that will run on green gas or propane so I don't have to mince about with CO2 cartridges.
Don't require realistic features such as reciprocating slide, etc.
I would prefer something compact, Glock 19 size or smaller. I'd like something I can flip in a coat or cargo pocket, as I alreadyI already EDC a Sig Sauer p320 9mm, which is slightly overkill for this particular issue. (Not that I haven't been tempted on a few occasions) I am an air gun novice. Suggestions very welcome, I'm not completely settled on a gas-powered repeater, I just haven't found anything spring powered and or single shot that is compact enough.. thanks very much in advance!
my friend has a bb gun similar to the john wicks baba yaga, same gun but different colours. that uses propane or something. he fills it with a canister similar to how you fill a lighter. you could just shoot bb's or dry fire with gas, would still give a crack or hit one in ass with bb lol
I don't know if there are even any 0.177 bb or pellet options that run on green gas or propane. I know there are airsoft guns that use these propellants, because I have some that I use with my son. Unfortunately they are not powerful or accurate enough for my needs.
