Hi Andy,
Any chance that you will reveal the name of the new startup you are working with anytime soon? I've just cancelled an order with Pellpax after, quite frankly, appalling service, so looking for your recommendation. None of the items require face-to-face interaction, so I can do mail-order.
Thank you in anticipation,
Mick
Many thanks Andy - looking forward to being able to park !!
Andy
I have always enjoyed your reviews except, I often seem to spend money after I watch them!
You recently reviewed the Air Venturi Springfield Armoury M1 Carbine and I was completely sold. Now trying to find one. P-pax appeared to have a plastic one in stock so I enquired about the chances of delivery on a wooden one, no reply.
My question is, if you are going to continue reviewing products which I am tempted to buy and my wife thinks are pocket money prices; will AV be prepared to source those products even if they don't choose to stock them?
This would not compromise your 'independence' as you are reviewing a product and not pushing a supplier or stockist; but it would seem to make sense for AV to be prepared to respond to the demand that your reviews will generate.
Sorry for rambling on, but I get frustrated when I cannot source something I know I want and suppliers (in two counties beginning with 'N') fail to respond to genuine enquiries.
AV looks like an interesting project, I wish you well. Off to spend my pocket money now on three Woodbines and two ounces of sherbert lemons.

I've just seen the announcement about www.vector-air.co.uk and spotted Karl Orange's familiar face. It's a bit more of a trek from Stoke-on-Trent than the Nottingham dealer, but I'd prefer to crawl from Stoke to Newark across broken glass to get to Vector Air than to ever deal with Pellpax again. At least I do have my refund now.
Best of luck to Karl and Luke (Fireballuke I presume?)
Hi Mick... well the cat is out of the bag and your earlier ‘guess’ was pretty close... but we had to try and keep things under wraps. It would be great to see you down at the shop if you are in the area but they are looking at delivery options for all products. Kind regards, Andy
I think Pellpax is one place to completely avoid, judging by the number of people complaining they have been sold a rifle and then discovering it is on back order. RFDs aren’t allowed to do that, by law....
I’m spending the kids inheritance before they realise where it’s gone 😎, so hurry up Andy, please
Thank you Andy, just waiting on my refund from Pellpax, but I may as well buy a lottery ticket for how likely I am to get said refund.
Hi Mick... it’s imminent... in the next few days all will be revealed
