I’m a returning shooter after 50 plus years. I used to run a .22 rifle club up here in the Northeast in the late 60’s early 70’s. I would like to thank Andy for his reviews as I had my eye on a Hatsan fade qe and basically stumbled upon his YouTube channel, perused that and happened upon his review of the Remington T-Rex bolt action. The thing took me was that it had open sights, something missing on most pcp rifles. I’ve had it a week and been to a few local ranges, one to sight it in and the other for some longer range shooting, out to 50 meters.
Taken up shooting on a budget is a bit of a pain, especially when it comes to scopes. I bought a scope off Amazon, taking note on Andy’s advice and found a scope with 30mm tube. Fitted it to the rifle and off to sight it in.. not a chance, I couldn’t get reticule to go above target center without packing under the rear mount, it’s gone back, waiting for an ex demo Vector Veyron to turn up. The end of my first two weeks back in the fould….😎
