Bit of a confessional this, but fortunately my better half supports my air gun addiction.......I got back in to airgunning just over a year ago, and did the usual online research as times have certainly changed since my last dabble.......Discovered Andys AIrgun Review channel of course and liked his impartial factual and entertaining shows. So Andy.....you're responsible for the following purchases...... Webley VMX pistol, Gamo Maxxim Elite, Gamo GX40 PCP and accessories, "Chinese" pcp air compressor and 7 litre dive bottle, and two Hogan Decimator Silencers. My other guns I have to blame on Giles and his AirgunGearShow.........those being a SMK PR900W, Gamo Coyote, and a Crosman 1077.... so maybe I should blame YouTube for my addiction afterall and let Andy off the hook, anyway.......as in the title, what did you buy after one of Andys reviews?

I ment to say 25 yards not 75 🤣
After watching Andy's reviews these are the two I bought
GAMO VENARI
Walther RM8 Vermont
And very happy with them 👍👍
Both with hawkscope and suppressor, there are so accurate at 75 yards and as Andy says the gun will pick it's preferred pellets.
Umarex mp 40
Umarex thompson
Airforce 1 mosin nagant
Lee Enfield SMLE
Air Venturi M1 carbine
v1 service revolver x2 as the mrs took such a liking to it I got her one too
Webley Nemesis x
Andy's cost me a lot of money so far lol
Curses to Andy and his YouTube channel. Made me go and buy the following,
Gamo PR-776 revolver
Glock 17 Gen 4
HDX68
Crosman DPMS SBR
Webley MkVI .177 pellet revolver
So glad it’s not just me who’s been swayed by Andy’s reviews! Since May last year Andy has inspired the following purchases:-
PPQ mark 2
Chiappa 60 nickel
Beretta 92 fs in black and nickel with wooden grips (about to add chrome one as well)
S&W M29 8 3/4 pellet
S&W 629 6.5 pellet
Glock 17 gen 4
Glock 19 BB
BSA r10
HDX68
crossman r1
Sig M17
Mauser Broomhandle
Dan Wesson 715
rumours of more belt driven offerings from Umarex in the pipeline so fingers crossed for a nice 22 shot 92 fs
I bought a Vulcan mk2 in laminate in sub 12 ft/lb. Just a beautifully designed gun, well balanced and soooo accurate... Frequent one inch groups of .22 JSB Exact Match diablo Jumbo RS13.43gr at 58metres my maximum shooting range at the moment. Many thanks for Andy's honest and truthful review of this gun which convinced me to purchase the same. So well pleased, all my friends love shooting it too.
i've been using the channel along with airgungear show to research my next weapon. recently bought a gamo p-25 without any research. happy with the weapon but wished i watched andys review on the webley service mk vi. shoulda bought that one. my next is either a webley nemesis, nemesis x or asg tac repeater, that one looks fun. i was gonna buy the webley service next but its gone down the list amongst many others i can't yet afford. vulcan 2 is a wet dream lol
I bought a BSA R10SE laminate kit from Vector Air. The service was second to none, they even went to the factory to collect the rifle as BSA were having problems with their courier and they didn’t want me to Ben disappointed. The rifle is superb not only to look at but such a lovely gun to shoot.
I have also ordered a new Ultra CLX which hasn’t yet arrived unfortunately. I have heard many reasons why the gun has not been released but other than an apology from the factory to say it’s been delayed weeks ago nothing concrete. I suppose it will come one day just a bit annoying that it was released at the beginning of March and here we are nearly mid May.
Webley Mk VI .177 version... your fault, Andy ;) Plus Sam Browne webbing, and I am not even British. Remaining on the wishlist is this https://www.wkc-shop.de/de/paradewaffen-zubehoer-laendern/braune-lederscheide-britische-infranterie-guards-degen and OFC the suiting Coldstream Guards' sword. BTW: Wouldn't you like to review the new (?) .22 police edition? I mean, a .22 CO2 revolver? With a 4" barrel? There must be something going on about the valve, the barrel, the cartridges,,, not forgetting about the pellets to test!
Gamo GX40, Pump, bag, Vector Optics Hugo 4-16x44GT, Hogan Decimeter, another moderator and have also bought bits like cleaning pellets, face mask and pellets etc...
The scope is lovely.
I am a complete newbie to airguns and discovered Andy's content over the last week; I've learnt a huge amount already, so thanks Andy. I've decided to go for the Glock 17 Gen 4 based on Andy's video review and the gun shop I visited on Saturday is getting stock in tomorrow. So looking forward to my first air pistol purchase. I know already that it won't be my last having seen and handled them in the flesh now.
I originally fancied the Gen 5 thinking new was better... clearly not, and also (worrying about ricochet and preferring pellet accuracy) the dual ammo Glock 17 was at the top of the list. Still, the 12 year old boy in me watching those American TV shows of old fancied the full blowback and field strippable features of the Gen 4.
Can't wait!!! Time to build a backstop and learn a bit about minimising ricochet 😀
None directly, but in a roundabout way....
Two TX200 (0.177 & 0.22)
An R10 Mk2 (0.22)
An FX Crown with both 0.177 & 0.22 barrels / pellet probes etc.
(And a fair number of Hawke scopes!)
Greetings
Don't let the wife read this and, upon my demise don't let her sell them for what I said I paid for them.
Andy must take full responsibility for:
SMK - Remington .22 Cobra thumbhole - break barrel rifle
Umarex - Beretta 92FS - pistol
Webley Mk VI pistol - revolver
Umarex - Walther PPK - pistol
SMK - Victory CP2 - rifle/pistol
Crosman - Night Stalker - pistol
Webley - VMX - pistol
Umarex - Ruger 10/22 - rifle
Umarex - Luger P08 - pistol
Umarex - Glock 17 gen 4 - pistol
Plus a shed load of accessories. Plus an M1 carbine in the pipeline.
For target work, indoors at 6M I use the Ruger, VMX and the CP2 in both modes.
Hi All, I have just bought a Beretta M84FS after watching all Andy's reviews. I have had a great couple of mornings with it. Really well built and weighty. Like the real thing. Got to chose my next one now!
Fx wildcat .22 , Daystate Regal .20 & Air Arms s510 .177 AAR & Airgun Gear Show. No question the best on YouTube. I do watch a few others but for reviews on something I'm spending my cash on... AAR , AGGS.
Glock 17 Gen 4 (Umarex part no. 5.8364), and I am so grateful to Andy for his excellent comparative review with the Gen 5. I was originally going to go for Umarex part number 5.8361 (Gen 3???) on the basis that it was the cheapest, but noting the similarity in design to the Gen 5 (5.8369) in Andy's video, I concluded that the Gen 4 was the best value of the BB-only offerings. Haven't had chance to shoot it yet, but the feeling of the slide action, magazine action and the feeling in the hand is just superb. I'm 99% sure that the Gen 4 is a KWC K17 internally, but commissioned by Umarex under their licence to include the authentic look and markings. It's just in a different league compared to the in-house Umarex offerings, which rely on the trigger action to cycle the round, and that slide rattle! Really looking forward to getting some shooting time soon to feel the blowback action and have a chuckle at the notorious low-shooting. Not that the low-shooting matters though, this is all about safe fun and impeccable realism (within the realm airguns can offer).
I can see Andy causing me to part-ways with my cash again shortly. I feel a budget-midrange springer is in order for some proper target work. Thank you Andy!
The following of mine were purchased as a direct result of AAR:
Glock 17 Gen 4 .177 BB
Umarex Legends Cowboy underlever rifle .177
Sig Sauer P226 .177
Sig Sauer P320 .177
SMK Victory CP2 .22 (ended up buying 2 cos the Mrs took one for herself 😅 )
Webley Nemesis .22
Weihrauch HW45 .22
I also bought a Hawke scope, and base a lot of my pellet buying on Andy's reviews 😀
