Hi All,
I have bought a Beretta M84FS and have loved it! Itching for my next one. Any ideas? I like replicas, but it doesn't have to be a pistol. Blowback and full magazine is my preference and as close to the real thing the better. What do you think?
MY VERY FIRST PISTOL FOR ACCURACY TRAINING Pellet or Metal BBs?
2h ago
Hello how are you my name is Sebastián Cuervo, I've been checking out some pellet pistols to train my accuracy but I prefer one that doesn't waste too much CO2 so I could have fun with it low cost, this are my favorites but I would like your recommendations.
SIG SAUER X-FIVE
BERETTA PX4 STORM
UMAREX SA10
CZ-P09
And also if you recommend me BBs these are my favorites: Non Blowback
UMAREX JERICHO B IWI / REPLICA
SWISS ARMS SA941
Crosman C11
Blowback
HK 45 USP UMAREX
S&W M&P 40
DAYSI 5501
I know that some of them could be used for BBs and pellets, but I've been checking out that is not good for the pistol use BBs because of the rifled barrel could start having some problems or which are your recommendations? Thanks for your reply and your comments about it.
The Umarex Glock 17 Gen 4 is a ridiculously good replica. Whereas the Beretta uses the trigger to push the BB into the breach, in the Glock, that is done by the blowback action, giving a true semi-automatic action.
226 looks right up my street!

I have the Steel BB version since about 3 years - it is beautiful, heavy, everything is functional (no deco elements):
Blowback, even with "sliding lock/tipping barrel" (don't know the English term).
Full-size magazine, as heavy as a loaded real one (SBB version only, the pellet version is loaded differently). I know the original pistol - you can't get much closer.
Saw it in an Army shop and directly bought the black steel BB version with flat barrel and fixed sights... because I didn't know there was a rifled, adjustable pellet version. Amazing trigger!
Differences to P226 and P228 models are the ~2cm longer barrel and a longer hand-protection (tang/beaver tail).
I used a metal nail-file to smoothen the magazine's "locking-hole" a bit. After three years of heavy-duty fun only the safety has become a bit loose. And the signs of wear make it look even better.
I love it and can recommend it - it's the only one I ever bought a holster for :-)
... if you choose it, you'll definitely want a 2nd magazine.
Best greetings,
Christian
I have used real SIGs in both 226 and 229. I'm really tempted to get a CO2 one of those.....
