For my next air gun, (I've just bought 5 Umarex guns already can't wait for them to land 😂) I'm looking for an M4/AR-15 style one.
* Umarex M4 breakbarrel (used £200) although this is a breakbarrel it's 3kg and 11ft/lb+ power.
* Crosman MTR 77 M16 breakbarrel 10ft/lb
* Brothers in Arms M4 Hellboy (the upside is this is full metal)
* Crosman DPMS
* Crosman R1
My purpose is a replica that looks and feels real but I want to be able to use it every other weekend. Two of the guns I've just bought are Umarex MP40 and Thompson M1A1 so I've got a couple of Co2 rifles maybe a breakbarrel would be different.
I like the look of the Crosman DPMS and R1 but sadly like most replica air guns they power output is 1.8ft/lb - 2.8ft/lb power. I do really like the look of the Umarex M4, alot and I found someone with one used for sale, that's what I'm thinking of buying. Anyone here got experience with multiple of these?
Hopefully you went for the Crosman SBR, just picked one up and I am over the moon with it. Looked at the Hellboy M4 & Crosman AK1. However the SBR just had that something about it and felt great to hold.
