I live on a small property (120+ acres) and have feral rats/rabbits/cats/foxes and pigs and I am looking for an airgun to deal with the first 4 feral types but as mentioned silencers etc are banned so I am looking for recommendations regarding quiet airguns (either springer or PCP) Thanks.

what did you end up with?
Thanks again, back to the internet for me.
I'd still refer to the YouTube 'hunter' postings - most of the hunters on there have years of experience - and most I've seen are only too willing to advise on kit.
I'm currently restricted to sub 12ft/lb – but did a huge amount of research before I bought my first 'hunt-capable' springer - an AirArms TX200 - which can be picked up the UK for around £500.
There are many really good examples on Gunstar - a UK gun-trading platform.
Unsure of the implications of shipping out to Oz though – but you may have a similar platform over there.
When it came to buying a hunt-capable PCP I went for the AirArms S510 Ultimate Sporter - circa £1200 in the UK.
I'd also do a lot of research on your scope – it's as critical for accuracy as having a good rifle.
Also, bear in mind, one day you may want a better rifle, but it you already have a really good scope you can continue to use it.
Good luck.
Morning thanks for the quick response, the pigs will be dealt with by a friend with a shotgun so no worries there. Regarding sub 12ftlb not a problem here as no power restrictions. I was leaning towards springer due cost here are 30-40% higher than the UK. Some of the lower cost PCPs are also looking good (Kral puncher breaker and Umarex gauntlet $900 AUD each) in either .22 or .25 The Kral can be bought with 3 barrels .177/.22/.25 so could be 3 in one which is interesting, the electric air pumps are also expensive and traveling 2hrs each way to get a bottle filled is not going to happen.
I'd forget a springer - they tend to be much louder than pcp's.
If you're intending to shoot rabbits, cats and foxes at any distance you really should be looking at high power pcp's - over 12ft lbs rifles.
I'd check out the kit used by professionals in your neck of the woods - go onto YouTube and search "Australian Air rifle hunting"
If you want to see what the Brits use - do the same with "UK Air rifle hunting" - there are any number of air rifle hunting videos for information.
For pigs though - you're probably looking at really high-powered .50 cal rifles - if they're legal over there.
